All memories of Lena's (Maria Schrader) previous life have been erased from her mind; her biographical memory no longer exists. Her husband Tore (Johannes Krisch) is suddenly a stranger, her friends are unknown to her, and she does not even recognize her own parents. Her entire life is now nothing more than a fictional story told to her by other people. Lena tries to be the person she is supposed to have been, like an actor slipping into a role. But a resistance to this prescribed personality grows within her, because her new self is developing in a completely different direction...
