A young woman, new to Paris, full of doubts and searching for her place in life. In a café, she discovers an advertisement: a bookshop is looking for assistance—including a small studio. Curious, she enters the dusty, almost forgotten bookshop and meets an older, misanthropic bookseller. Despite his dismissive manner, an unexpected connection develops between the two.
