Saint-Narcisse

A young man who loves himself more than anyone else discovers a secret that turns his life upside down. After the death of his grandmother, he finds out that his mother, whom he believed to be dead, is still alive—and that he has a twin brother who was raised in a remote monastery by an obscene priest. SAINT-NARCISSE, the latest film from cult Canadian director Bruce LaBruce, premiered in 2020 at the Giornate degli Autori at the Venice International Film Festival. The film won the Fanheart3 Award “Graffetta d'Oro” for Best Film. It has also been screened at international festivals such as the Sitges Film Festival, the Busan International Film Festival, and the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal.
