Synopsis
Fred and Adam have never met when an association brings them together for an unusual journey: an 800-kilometre pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago. Fred is trying to make peace with her past, while the troubled teenager Adam struggles with anger and a deep sense of abandonment.
Kilometre by kilometre, clashes, exhaustion and encounters along the way begin to change their relationship. What starts as an uneasy partnership gradually develops into a fragile bond, forcing both travellers to confront what they have been carrying with them.
Directed by Yann Samuell, COMPOSTELLE is inspired by real events and Bernard Ollivier's Marche et invente ta vie, connected to his work helping troubled young people through long-distance walking. The result is a dramatic comedy about trust, resilience and the unexpected connections that can emerge along the way.
