Born in Erfurt in 1989, Hannes Schilling studied audiovisual media in Berlin from 2009 to 2015. In 2014, he spent a semester abroad in Jerusalem at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem. Hannes Schilling studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg until 2024.
