Haitian filmmaker Junior Metellus works as a director and writer. His feature debut, *Ayiti* (2022), was screened at international festivals and participated in the competition of the 2023 Miami Film Festival. At the Brooklyn Film Festival in the same year, the film was honored with the Spirit Award in the Feature Narrative category. His earlier works include the short film *Ayiti: The Awakening* (2017).
