The filmmaker Leo Bruckmann graduated in directing from the University of Television and Film (HFF) Munich. His medium-length feature film "Pampa" (2020) premiered in the competition of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis. He gained further attention with his graduation film "Zappenduster" (2022). This work earned him a nomination for the prestigious newcomer award, the First Steps Award.
