Stoyan Radev is a Bulgarian filmmaker who works as a director and actor. His directorial debut, the short film "Ad Lib" (2019), which he co-wrote with Vessela Kazakova, had its world premiere in the international competition of the Locarno Film Festival. The film was subsequently presented at other festivals, such as the Sarajevo Film Festival, and received a nomination for Best Short Film at the 2020 Bulgarian Film Academy Awards. Radev had previously appeared as an actor in films including "Alienation" ("Otchuzhdenie," 2013).
