The female desire for sex is the subject of this documentary by Eva Heldmann. It documents a woman and her quest for sex in clubs and U.S. army barracks in Germany. However when troops were withdrawn, bang went the supply of GIs. The candid openness with which a German academic talks about her sexual drive, pleasures and frolics with black GIs, turns the world of a male dominated army barracks on its head. The film also documents a particular topography, which disappeared with the departure of the American Army from the region around Frankfurt: shopping, housing areas, and fast food restaurants, where you paid with dollars and the clubs were full.
