André Szardenings
DirectorAndré Szardenings, born in 1988, is a German director, screenwriter, and cinematographer who studied at the ifs internationale filmschule köln. His feature film debut and graduation project, "Bulldog" (2021), premiered at the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival, where it received a nomination for the main award. For this directorial work, Szardenings was honored with the German Cinema New Talent Award at the Hof International Film Festival. In addition to his own directing, he is also active as a cinematographer and was involved in this capacity in films such as Fatih Akin's "Rheingold" (2022).
