Anne Consigny
ActorAnne Consigny is a French actress known for her extensive work in French cinema and television. Born on May 25, 1963, in Alençon, Orne, France, she has built a respected career characterized by versatile performances in both dramatic and comedic roles. Consigny has appeared in notable films such as "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" (2007), directed by Julian Schnabel, where she played Claude, the speech therapist. This film received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.
Another significant role was in "A Christmas Tale" (2008) directed by Arnaud Desplechin, in which she played the character Elizabeth. The film competed for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Anne Consigny also starred in "Je ne suis pas là pour être aimé" ("Not Here to be Loved") (2005) by Stéphane Brizé, which earned her a nomination for the César Award for Best Supporting Actress.
