Born in Versailles, France, in 1963, actor Anne Tismer completed her training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Her stage career is marked by engagements at leading theaters such as the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz and the Volksbühne in Berlin. A high point of her career was 2003, when she received multiple awards for her title role in 'Nora', directed by Thomas Ostermeier, including Actress of the Year by the magazine 'Theater heute' and the Gertrud Eysoldt Ring. In addition to her intense stage work, the performer also appears in film and television productions.
