DirectorBorn in Wuppertal in 1981, director and screenwriter Aron Lehmann graduated from the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. His graduation film, `Kohlhaas oder die Verhältnismäßigkeit der Mittel` (2012), was awarded the Audience Award at the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival. He received the Bavarian Film Award for Best New Director for the satirical tragicomedy `Die letzte Sau` (The Last Pig, 2016). He achieved major box office success with the teen comedy `Das schönste Mädchen der Welt` (The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, 2018) and the literary adaptation `Was man von hier aus sehen kann` (What You Can See from Here, 2022).
