Christian Schlemmer image

Born in Halle (Saale) in 1982, filmmaker Christian Schlemmer studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. His works are regularly screened at renowned festivals. His short film "Was bleibt" (What Remains) from 2018 was shown at Filmfest Dresden and the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival, among others. His more recent work "Maman" (2024) also premiered in the National Competition at Filmfest Dresden, where it was awarded the Golden Horseman of the Youth Jury.
