Born in Berlin in 1938, actor Christian Wolff completed his training at the Max Reinhardt School of Acting. He was already appearing in front of the camera in the 1950s for films such as "Die fröhliche Wallfahrt" (1956) and "Verbrechen nach Schulschluß" (1959). He became known to a wide audience primarily for his leading role as forester Martin Rombach in the long-running ZDF series "Forsthaus Falkenau", which he portrayed from 1989 to 2006. For his performance in this series, he was honored with awards including the Bambi and the Goldene Kamera. In addition to his extensive film and television work, which also includes guest appearances in formats like "Das Traumschiff", Wolff is also regularly active on stage.
