Janina Elkin
ActorBorn in Kyiv in 1982, actor and filmmaker Janina Elkin completed her training at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is a regular presence in numerous German television productions, having appeared in various episodes of series like 'Tatort' and 'SOKO'. Elkin gained international attention for her role as Mrs. Borgov in the Netflix series 'The Queen's Gambit' (2020). Her more recent work includes appearances in the series 'King of Stonks' (2022) and 'The Shadow' (2023), and she also directed her own short film, 'Kalt' (2022).
