Kevin Patze

Actor
Kevin Patze, born in 1994 in Halberstadt, is a German director and screenwriter. He completed his studies in film directing at the ifs internationale filmschule köln in 2023. His graduation film, the short "God is a Beetle" (2022), was screened at numerous festivals and was featured in the competition for the Max Ophüls Prize 2023. For this work, Patze received several awards, including the prize for Best German Short Film at the Independent Days Karlsruhe and the Audience Award at the Bundesfestival Junger Film. His other cinematic works include the short films "The Spider" (2023) and "The Lost Star" (2021).
