Lana Cooper

Actor
Lana Cooper (born 1981 in Hamburg) is a prominent German actress known for her rich film and television career and awards at renowned festivals. She completed her acting training at the Frese Acting Studio in Hamburg after engagements at the youth theater of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. She came to the attention of a wider cinema audience with the multi-award-winning mumblecore film LOVE STEAKS (2013), for which she was honored as Best Actress at the Evolution Mallorca Film Festival and the Munich Film Festival, among others. This was followed by challenging roles in films such as BEAT BEAT HEART (2016), for which she was awarded an acting prize at the Günter Rohrbach Film Prize in 2017. In WIR SIND DIE FLUT (2016) and the short drama SCHMITKE (2014), she continued to showcase her subtle acting talent. In the provocative drama KIM HAT EINEN PENIS (2018), she once again showed her courage to take on challenges, proving her artistic versatility. Lana Cooper impresses with her authenticity and presence on screen and stage and has established herself in German arthouse and independent cinema.
