Matthias Matschke
ActorMatthias Matschke is a German actor for film and television. In TÖCHTER (2014, directed by Maria Speth), he plays the role of Ole, adding to the ensemble with a precisely drawn male character who gives an additional perspective to the family conflicts of the two main characters. In addition to his film work, he is known to a large television audience as Hagen Pastewka in the comedy series Pastewka, in which he regularly appears alongside Bastian Pastewka. In The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014, directed by Wes Anderson), he appears as a cheeky prison guard. He previously appeared as Klaus in Soloalbum (2003, directed by Gregor Schnitzler).
Matschke is known to a wide television audience through Pastewka: since 2005, he has played Hagen Pastewka in numerous episodes of the series. The character complements the ensemble with a permanent family role alongside the main character and has been at the core of the series for many seasons.
