ActorThe Berlin-based director and screenwriter Mehdi Ramdani is a graduate of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). His graduation film, "The Left Behind" (2018), received a nomination for the German Short Film Award. In his subsequent works, the filmmaker often addresses socio-political issues. His 2022 short film "L'Enfant" ran in competition at the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival. Previously, his film "The Land of the Free" (2020) was shown at festivals such as Achtung Berlin.
