British actor Oris Erhuero initially worked as a model before beginning his acting career. He gained international attention for his role in Raoul Peck's HBO film *Sometimes in April* (2005). For his leading performance in the drama *The Cursed Ones* (2015), he was widely acclaimed and received the Best Actor award at the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards. His filmography also includes works such as *Road to Yesterday* (2015) and a role in the series *Black Sails*.
