Los Angeles-based filmmaker Patrick Ware gained recognition with his directorial debut. His short film 'My Own,' originally titled 'Imogene,' premiered in the La Cinef section of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Ware is a graduate of the MFA Film program at Columbia University. For his work on 'My Own,' he was a finalist for the Someone to Watch Award at the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards.
