With her 2023 feature film DER SIEBZEHNTE (The Seventeenth), she presented a sensitive portrait of youth, identity, and responsibility, which was shown at several German film festivals. She had already attracted attention in 2017 with her documentary SPRACHE: SEX (Language: Sex), which openly examines the portrayal of sexuality and gender roles in film. Both works demonstrate Walker's consistent commitment to combining social issues with artistic independence.
