Theresa Scholze

Theresa Scholze, born on August 29, 1974, in Munich, is a German actress from Brandenburg an der Havel, known for her versatility in film, television, and theater. She completed her acting training at the University of Music and Theater Leipzig (2000–2004) and made her television debut early on in “Wolffs Revier.” She had her breakthrough as Anna Kolmaar in the ZDF crime series Der letzte Zeuge (1998–2006). She appeared in the feature film Julietta – Es ist nicht wie du denkst (2001, directed by Christoph Stark). A highlight of her film career is the drama LICHTGESTALTEN (2015, directed by Christian Moris Müller), in which she and Max Riemelt play a Berlin couple who radically question their carefully constructed life and want to start from scratch – an intense chamber play about freedom and self-discovery. She has also appeared in a number of feature films, including Vier Fenster (2006, directed by Christian Moris Müller), which premiered at the Berlinale, Kreisliga – Ein Dorf sieht schwarz (2015, directed by Christian Moris Müller), Marcel über den Dächern (2015, directed by Sebastian Stolz), and the docudrama Der Traum von Olympia – Die Nazi-Spiele von 1936 (2016, directed by Mira Thiel and Florian Huber). On television, Theresa Scholze has been making her mark since 2018 in the ARD Heimatfilm series Daheim in den Bergen as hotel manager Lisa Huber (2024, directed by Markus Imboden). She has also appeared regularly in crime series such as Tatort, SOKO Leipzig, Danni Lowinski, and Der Lehrer. Theresa Scholze captivates audiences with her empathetic depth and credible presence, both in demanding films such as LICHTGESTALTEN and in long-running series roles – she embodies modern character work with authenticity.
