Yves Raeber

Actor
Yves Raeber is a versatile actor, speaker and director who grew up bilingual (German/French) and lives in Zurich-Wollishofen. He completed his artistic training from 1975 to 1977 at the renowned École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Raeber was a member of the Théâtre Populaire Romand ensemble and made guest appearances at major theaters such as Theater Neumarkt Zürich, Theater Basel and Staatstheater Stuttgart. His theater career includes leading roles such as the title role in “Scapin's Tricks” by Molière and George in “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck. He has also been active in front of the camera since 1977, appearing in films and series such as “Tatort,” “Ein Sommer in Südfrankreich” and “Banking District.” Raeber has appeared as a radio speaker in numerous SRF and ORF productions, including “Matto regiert” (1988) and “Die Kadenz des Mörders” (2022). In addition, he has been working as a director since 1988 and translates books by French authors into German. Yves Raeber impresses with his versatility and his long-standing contribution to theater, film and radio play culture.
