The organizers of the Pride Parade in Belgrade find unexpected allies in the criminal milieu.

The organizers of the Pride Parade in Belgrade find unexpected allies in the criminal milieu.

In this blockbuster and comedy-road movie, a homophobic war veteran finds himself protecting a Gay Pride march in Belgrade. A rude and raunchy challenge to Balkan homophobia.

Limun operates a security service in Belgrade. His fiancée Pearl is happily preparing their upcoming nuptials with the help of gay wedding planner Mirko. He's fed up with Limun's constant gay-baiting and wants to quit. So Pearl presents Limun with an ultimatum: Mirko has to stay, and she will only walk down the aisle if Limun's company protects the gay pride parade Mirko and his boyfriend are organizing against homophobic attacks.

“Gay-bashing and the aftermath of civil war are not the easiest subjects to turn into a comedy, but Serbian director Srđan Dragojević manages to do just that.” (Hollywood Reporter)
