Synopsis
CALABRIA is a road movie documentary in a hearse. After the death of an Italian man who came to Switzerland to find work, two undertakers, Jovan and José - themselves emigrants - drive the body to Italy to repatriate the deceased to his home village.
Jovan, a gypsy from Belgrade, believes in life after death, while José from Portugal has a passion for culture and believes only what he sees. The trip is full of surprises and contingencies and pays tribute to the dead person while celebrating life.
