From one day to the next, Martha's (Sandra Hüller) husband goes missing. She now has to confront the question of how well she really knew him, since he appears to have led a double life. She meets Alexander, is attracted by him. Will her future be different from her past? Discovered secrets, new opportunities are the elements of a traumatic crisis, the course of which leads to existential questions about identity and life. The film was shown at the Berlinale, received the main prize at the Schwerin film fest and the Prize for Best Actress from the Association of German Film Critics.
