Trash Humpers

Trash Humpers

Directed by Harmony Korine

Trailer

A group of elderly 'Peeping Toms' crash against a torn and frayed America as they document their own shockingly debased actions.

Synopsis

A mesmerizing experience captured on smeared, lo-fi VHS tape, which defies explanation and embraces the unconventional. This faux found object, discovered among a pile of discarded treasures or left behind by an enigmatic neighbor, beckons to press Play and surrender to the unknown. It takes the viewers on a haunting journey through desolate suburban landscapes, shadowed by the presence of four enigmatic figures adorned in elderly masks. Abandoned parking lots and cluttered back alleys become their playground, where peculiar activities manifest. Like rebellious teenagers driven by primal urges, these protagonists engage in bizarre rituals, like passionately copulating with garbage cans. They wield their destructive prowess, reducing televisions to splinters, while tearfully pedaling children's bicycles through empty streets.
