Un café sans musique c'est rare à Paris

Directed by Johanna Pauline Maier

Trailer

In nocturnal Paris, Anna slips into the various roles of a woman's life until she suddenly finds herself face to face.

Synopsis

In the middle of the night, a young woman with a suitcase stands on a street in Paris. She's not sure who she is - but the people she meets by chance seem to know her. "It's always strangers who think they know who you are" Anna answers the question of a tourist who mistakes her for an old friend. This is where Anna's journey through the city begins. Or, is it the city itself which takes her by the hand through nocturnal streets, strange encounters, and confusing scenarios? On her journey, Anna slips into the diverse roles of a woman's life: as an "acquaintance", "daughter", and "mother" and yet never herself - until she suddenly comes face to face with herself. The portrait of a big city, our time and a woman in search of her identity.
