In the formerly male-dominated world of wrestling, a courageous woman struggles to be taken seriously as an athlete and performer.
Synopsis
Yasmin Lander from Norwich has wanted one thing above all else since she was a child: to become a female wrestler. She has been training for many years, making her debut in 2011.
But the pink-clad upper-class girl she is supposed to embody doesn't suit her. She takes time off and creates a new alter ego: tomboy Charlie Morgan - tough, direct, self-confident.
"But what's left of her fame when Charlie reveals what she's really like? Because Yasmin is newly in love.... A coming-of-age film of a special kind." (DokFest Munich)
