Überleben in New York

Three German women, Claudia, Anna, and Ulli, go to New York - which casts a spell over them as if hypnotized - in the early 1980s and try to gain their footing. Claudia, who has come to New York with her boyfriend, soon breaks up with him and falls in love with a woman. Ulli from Swabia lives with her boyfriend Ronnie, who in a drug intoxication has killed his best friend in self-defense. Anna, after marrying a fashion designer, met a judge, in a strip club, where she occasionally performed alongside her job as a therapist in a Catholic school.
