What begins as flirting turns into a journey beyond norms: three people explore what closeness can mean—radically open and unexpectedly tender.
Synopsis
A shy accountant, a confident divorcee, and a charismatic bartender meet at a party. What begins as a fleeting flirtation doesn't lead to the expected adventure, but to a moment of confusion. Instead of physical intimacy, an unfamiliar openness develops. A few days later, the three travel to the countryside together. A weekend that begins as a game turns into a confrontation with hidden desires and unspoken questions.
WE ARE THR3E by Marcelo Briem Stamm accompanies Nacho, Ana, and Sebastián on their journey toward a possible third model between friendship, love, and desire. The Argentine feature film questions the convention of the two-person relationship without condemning it. With a precise eye, the film shows the emergence of a constellation that does not follow any norms. The characters do not encounter each other through conventions, but through trust and openness. WE ARE THR3E was shown at the Roze Filmdagen Amsterdam LGBTQ Film Festival, among others. Reviews highlighted the authentic portrayals and the sensitive treatment of alternative lifestyles.
