Abby (Sierra McCormick), a teenager approaching her 15th birthday, is going through a difficult phase in her life, caught between childhood and adulthood. When her mother dies, she has to move in with her father (Jason Butler Harner) and his younger girlfriend. She feels alone in the world and is struggling to cope with her loss. So she tries out new identities, drugs, and sexual experiences that she believes will give her strength and a sense of control. Caught between new and old friendships and her relationship with her distant father, Abby struggles to find her footing in her new reality. EDGE OF EVERYTHING by Pablo Feldman and Sophia Sabella is a sensitive coming-of-age drama. Sierra McCormick delivers an energetic, wild, and confrontational portrayal of a teenage mind searching for stability—and finding limits. Caught between loss, autonomy, and the need for closeness, an intense portrait emerges of a young woman who must reinvent herself. The carefully crafted film uses intimate images to capture emotional truth; it refuses to offer simple answers, instead showing how fragile the transition to adulthood can be. The fact that reality is not glamorous, but unvarnished and sometimes dangerous, gives the film great emotional clarity. The world premiere took place in June 2023 at the Munich Film Festival. EDGE OF EVERYTHING was later presented at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Sun Valley Film Festival, and exground Youth Days, where it was praised for its powerful portrayal of psychological loss and adolescent self-discovery.
