Babak Karimi is an Iranian actor and director known for his work in Iranian cinema. He has appeared in numerous films including "A Separation" (2011), "The Past" (2013), and "The Salesman" (2016), all directed by Asghar Farhadi. Karimi has received critical acclaim for his performances and has been recognized with awards such as the Silver Berlin Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival for his role in "A Separation." In addition to his acting career, Karimi has also directed films such as "The Wasteland" (2016).
