Christiane Meiners, born in 1984 in East Frisia, is a German filmmaker and artist. She completed her studies in Fine Arts and Experimental Film at the Braunschweig University of Art, graduating as a master student. Together with Florian Hoffmann, she directed the documentary film "TACKLING", which explores masculinity and violence in the sport of rugby. The film premiered in competition at the 2023 Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival. Her earlier works include the experimental short film "SONNTAGMORGEN" (2015).
