DirectorKarin de Miguel Wessendorf is a respected documentary film director and journalist who has become known for her profound and socially committed work. Her films are characterized by a strong humanistic perspective, often shedding light on social injustices, ecological issues and political topics.
One of her best-known works is the documentary “The Red Line - Resistance in Hambach Forest”, which deals with the protests against the clearing of Hambach Forest in Germany. In 2022, she was nominated for the GRIMME Prize in the Children and Young People category for her TV report “Generation Waldbesetzer”.
