ActorBorn in Rome in 1984, actor Luca Marinelli completed his training at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio d'Amico. For his powerful performance in *They Call Me Jeeg* (2015), he was awarded the Italian David di Donatello film prize. A highlight of his career was the title role in the literary adaptation *Martin Eden* (2019), which earned him the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice International Film Festival. His body of work also includes internationally recognized films such as the comic book adaptation *The Old Guard* (2020) and the drama *The Eight Mountains* (2022).
