Natalia López is a Bolivian-born, Mexico-based filmmaker working as an editor and director. Before her directorial debut, she established herself as a key editor in contemporary Mexican cinema, frequently collaborating with directors such as Carlos Reygadas and Amat Escalante. Her notable editing credits include the films 'Post Tenebras Lux' (2012) and 'Heli' (2013). Her first feature film as a director, 'Robe of Gems' (2022), premiered in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival. For this work, she was awarded the Silver Bear Jury Prize.
