The Egyptian actor Nelly Karim began her career as a ballet dancer at the Cairo Opera House before turning to acting. Her body of work includes internationally recognized films such as the drama "678" (2010), which deals with sexual harassment. Another significant work in her filmography is "Eshtebak" (Clash, 2016), which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section.
