Oliver Sechting is a Berlin-based filmmaker and author who frequently realizes his projects together with Max Taubert. His work often deals with personal and queer themes. He gained particular recognition for his documentary "How I Learned to Love the Numbers" (2014), in which he addresses his own obsessive-compulsive disorder. This very personal film was honored with the New Berlin Film Award for Best Documentary at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival. His other cinematic works include the short film "Ich kenn dich nicht" (2018).
