Growing up in a village in Sicily, Antò and Tino were full of dreams of escaping provincial life and starting over somewhere new together. But then Tino disappears and they lose touch. When Antò learns that his childhood home is to be auctioned off, he sets out to find Tino, the only person who is still like family to him.

The reunion between Antò and Tino, who lives openly as a gay truck driver, is tense. Together they embark on a journey through Europe to save Antò's house and discover what home really means.
