DirectorIndian filmmaker Bobby Wahengbam, a graduate of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, has established himself as a director of both feature and documentary films. His documentary *Up-Down & Sideways* (2017), which explores the rice cultivation traditions in Arunachal Pradesh, was honored as the Best Ethnographic Film at the 65th National Film Awards. His feature film *Apaiba Leichil* (2020) was screened in the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Wahengbam also gained international attention through his selection for the prestigious Cinéfondation Résidence of the Festival de Cannes.
