François Armanet
DirectorFrench journalist, author, and filmmaker François Armanet is active in various creative fields. His documentary *Haut les filles* (2019), which chronicles the history of female rock icons in France, was an official selection at the Cannes International Film Festival. He previously directed the feature film *La Bande du Drugstore* (2002) and co-directed the documentary *In the French* (2015) with Élisabeth Quin. Alongside his cinematic work, Armanet serves as the editor-in-chief of the French magazine *L'Obs*.
