Stefan Denolyubov

The Bulgarian actor Stefan Denolyubov, born in Varna in 1964, graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. He gained international recognition for his leading role as a stuttering railroad worker in the award-winning drama `Glory` (`Slava`, 2016). For this performance, he was named Best Actor at the Gijón International Film Festival, among other accolades. Denolyubov is a recurring actor in the films of the directing duo Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov, including `The Lesson` (`Urok`, 2014) and the later successful film `The Father` (`Bashtata`, 2019), which won the main prize at Karlovy Vary.
