Born in Rome in 1975, actor Valerio Aprea is a prominent figure in contemporary Italian cinema and television. He became known to a wider audience through his role as a screenwriter in the cult series *Boris* (2007–2022). His performance in the comedy *Smetto quando voglio* (2014) earned him a David di Donatello nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Aprea had a close artistic partnership with writer Mattia Torre, frequently interpreting his texts, notably in the lead role of the film *Figli* (2020). In 2021, he was honored with a special Nastro d'Argento award for his satirical monologues on the show *Propaganda Live*.
