
Entire villages were evacuated and destroyed. When reconciliation was officially declared in 1994, Christians were allowed to return to their villages. In the village of Aïn al-Halazoun, only one man decided to return to his village for good.
Synopsis
Each story in this film provides a glimpse of the history of Lebanon and the situation of a country half-way between forgetting and remembering. The film addresses the consequences of war and the attempt to accept painful memories as part of one’s life.
