Tom Mercier

Actor
Israeli actor Tom Mercier, who originally trained in dance, studied acting at the Yoram Loewenstein Acting Studio in Tel Aviv. He made his international debut in 2019 with the lead role in Nadav Lapid's film *Synonyms*, which won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale. For his performance in this film, he received nominations for awards such as the César and the Lumières Award for Most Promising Actor. He subsequently appeared in Luca Guadagnino's HBO series *We Are Who We Are* (2020) and the film *The Damned* (2024), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
